The Holiday Cottages
Post House Garden Holiday Cottages lie at the heart of the tiny hamlet of Cwmbach in Carmarthenshire and are an ideal base for exploring South West Wales. The Pembrokeshire coastline is within easy reach by car and there you will find some beautiful attractions and some of the best kept secrets in the UK!
The property consists of the owners' residence and two self-catering holiday cottages, set alongside a five acre woodland garden. Cwmbach means "small valley" and this sums up the setting perfectly! Lying on the River Sien, the site was originally developed as a water powered corn mill. In recent decades the buildings have served as a village store, a petrol station and a post office, and have always been at the heart of the local community.
The two holiday cottages have been refurbished to a high standard and today offer cosy and welcoming accommodation for couples or family groups seeking the perfect rural retreat, a place to relax and unwind.
The peaceful valley offers real tranquillity and a complete break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet the cottage location (only six miles from the A40 and central between north and south coastlines) gives easy access to the unspoilt rolling countryside, historical attractions and beautiful beaches of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and The Gower Peninsula.
